GAIA SOLDATINI // vocals
Born in a family of musicians (her grandfather was first trumpet in Opera theatre in Rome and the uncle is an orchestra conductor) Gaia is the singer and leader of the group. She studied and performed in Italy before creating her own swing project in Belgium that attracted some of the most interesting musicians of Brussel's jazz scene. Her metallic yet warm voice, her contact with the public and her Italian touch give her a unique musical charm.
TRISTAN PATIGNY // drums
Tristan studied in Royal Conservatory of Bruxelles . He worked as a drummer in the Symphonic Orchestra of RTBF, the National Radio and Tv broadcast of Belgium. He plays all around Europe with Fabrice Eulry, Pascal Michaux, Philippe Lejeune, Jean-PaulAmoureux, Stéphanie Trick, Sharrie Wlliams, etc. He drives the band sound with a simple and yet fine jazzy groove. He's always ready to smile and to add... some cow bell!
YANNICK SCHYNS// piano
Graduated in Royal Conservatory of Bruxelles in jazz piano, Yannick performs as a pianist in several projects and he is a composer and arranger. He plays regularly all around Belgium and abroad.
Being active in several music genres, such as jazz, soul music, classical music, orchestral arrangement, cabaret and movie soundtrack (winner of Best Movie Music in International Film Festival in Naousson, Greece), Yannick is now an eclectic musician whose musical language is impregnated with all these influences. He is also a music teacher in Bruxelles Music Academy and Artistic Director of Ars Nova.
His beautiful solos can be hypnotizing: be careful!

FRANK GUETATRA // sax and clarinette
Franck studied music at I.A.C.P. and C.I.M in Paris with David Liebman, Richie Berach , Frank Deruytter , Nathalie Loriers , Daniel Stockart. He had his
master class with Rick Margitza ,Lew Tabackin,
He played with many musicians such as : Déborah Woodson , Harriet Lewis , Toots Thielman, Gino Latuca ,Gene " Mighty Flea" Connors , Danny Brillant ,Albie Donnelly,Daniela Rothenburg,Elon Bivins, Molly Duncan( Average White Band ). He also played and recorded with Stevie Woods.
His energic groove can make anybody dance!
BERTRAND LAMBRECHTS // piano and sax
Bertrand started to study piano and saxophone when he was 6. He graduated in Namur Conservatory (obtaining golden medal from the city) and in "Conservatoire Royale de Bruxelles". He joined several projects: Blue Fable, The River’s Boat Band, Namur Big Band, Floreffe Jazz Orchestra, Witloof Bay, surfing from jazz and New Orleans to funk music and choral. A real gentleman in daily life, he reveals his energy on the scene!
